| Are there other guests at the ranch? | You are our only guests that are "Roughing It With Style". There are no other guests.You have exclusive use of the cabin, the 140 acres and the two stocked lakes. |
| Is there water recreation on the property? | Yes, there are two stocked private fishing lakes on the property. |
| Can we fish and do we need to bring our own fishing gear? | You can bring your own gear or use our basic fishing gear and tackle which are provided. Our two lakes are noted for their bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish. |
| Are boats provided for the lakes? | Yes, a two person bass boat and trolling motor are provided for fishing and a paddleboat for your pleasure or you can bring your own canoe or kayak. |
| Can I purchase a gift certificate? | Yes, a gift certificate for a night or weekend makes a very thoughtful present of rest and relaxation. |
| What other activities are there to do on the ranch? | Walk the hiking trails or explore on one of our two mountain bikes. Photograph or do wildlife observation from one of our several ground blind locations. If this is too much activity, just spend the afternoon or the evening around your campfire. |
| What should I bring? | Please bring your personal recreation gear such as a camera and binoculars for bird watching and wildlife observation, a good book, a telescope for star gazing. Don't forget your slippers for putting your feet up by the fire. Everything else is here. |
| What's provided in the cabin? | The cabin is decorated in a North Woods style. However, this does not mean it is without its amenities. It is equipped with a coffee maker, a small microwave, a toaster, small refrigerator, stove and basic kitchen necessities. All linens are provided. |
| How many people will the cabin accommodate? | Our rates are based on one or two adult occupancy. The cabin is designed for couples or small families of five or under. |
| What about meals? | The cabin has a small kitchenette with self catered breakfast food provided. Upon making reservations, you will be sent a list that will allow us to customize your breakfast menu. Bring groceries for other meals or discover wonderful nearby eateries. |
| May we bring pets? | Since we only have one cabin and many people have pet allergies, we do not allow pets. |
| What are the check-in/check-out times? | Check-in may be arranged for early arrival. Since you are our only guests, check-in and check-out may be customized based on your travel plans and our incoming reservations. Please contact us for details. |
| May I bring horses? | Yes, the trails are wonderful for horseback riding. Horses may be hobbled in the nearby wildlife observation field. |
| What about smoking? | Smoking is allowed outside of the cabin only please. |
